Groovy is the sole owner of the information collected on our websites/apps that we provide for use by our users also known as users. We collect information from users to the websites/apps at different points on the websites.

Personally identifiable information is any piece of information that can potentially be used to uniquely identify, contact, or locate a single person including names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers.

In order to become a user, an applicant must provide biographical and contact information (such as name, mailing address, telephone numbers and email address) to us.

Groovy gathers and stores information that it collects through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third parties to create a profile of visitors to our websites/apps, including users.
A profile of stored information on individual users will not be created. Profile information is tied to the user’s personally identifiable information to improve the content of the site for the user.

Communications from us

Special Offers and Updates
Groovy sends all new users a welcome email to verify their username and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. All users will occasionally receive information on new and innovative Groovy social media services and a newsletter.

Service Announcements
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement.
For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.

User and Customer Service
Groovy communicates with users via email, social media, and private messages on the user’s Profile Page on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their Groovy account.
